Pre-loved market

舞衣流转 · Pre-loved Dancewear

Buy and sell pre-loved dancewear

Kids grow out of leotards and shoes fast. Our market lets dance families pass them on: sellers list their own items, buyers reserve online, then you meet and pay each other directly.

During the pilot, buying and selling is open to WE DANCE families. Everyone can browse.

How it works

Three steps to buy, three steps to sell

Buying

  1. Find it

Search by category, syllabus, grade, size or price. Not there yet? Save a "want" (for example, RAD Grade 2 leotard under $40) and the market tells you when a match is listed.

  2. Tap Reserve

Sign in and reserve. You and the seller then see each other's display name and mobile on the order page — only the two of you.

  3. Meet, check, pay

Agree a time and place within 7 days. Check the item, then pay the seller directly by cash or transfer. Tap "Got it" when you have it.

Save a want

Selling

  1. Sign in once

WE DANCE families: open the 商城 (Shop) tab in the WeDance Pro parent app — it leads to the pre-loved market — and you are signed in and verified automatically — no separate sign-up. Accept the terms and add a mobile number.

  2. List with photos

At least 3 photos: front, back and size label. Lay it flat or hang it up, and keep children's faces out. Give the honest size and condition, and set your price.

  3. Hand over, get paid

When someone reserves, arrange the hand-over, get paid directly and tap "Handed over". Reservations that are not handed over in time are cancelled and your item goes back on the rail.

Good to know

Before you trade

Hand-over is between you

The WE DANCE front desk does not receive, store or pass on items. Meet in a public place in daylight; children should not go alone.

Payment goes straight from buyer to seller

The market only shows listings. It is not a party to any sale, never holds money and does not guarantee second-hand items.

What can't be listed

  • Worn tights, socks or underwear
  • Worn pointe shoes
  • Used make-up
  • Children's nightwear
  • Counterfeits

Everything listed must be clean.

Privacy first

No phone, email or WeChat in listings or questions. Item pages show the seller's chosen nickname and, if they add it, when they are usually at school, never their phone, email or WeChat. Your mobile is shown only to the other person in your order.

Everything dance families need

Leotards, skirts, ballet, character, jazz and tap shoes, unworn pointe shoes, new tights, hip-hop wear, exam uniforms and costumes, warm-ups and accessories.

Ask your AI assistant

The market publishes its listings in a format AI assistants can read, so you can ask one to look for, say, a Grade 3 leotard in size 10.

Questions

Market questions

Where can I buy or sell second-hand dancewear in Auckland?

On 舞衣流转 · Pre-loved Dancewear (market.wedance.club), the market WE DANCE runs for dance families. Sellers list their own leotards, shoes, uniforms and costumes with photos; buyers reserve online and meet the seller to pay and collect. Prices are in NZD.

Who can buy and sell?

During the pilot, only WE DANCE families can buy and sell; anyone can browse. Open the market from the 商城 (Shop) tab in the parent app and you are verified automatically.

How do we pay and hand over?

After a reservation you both see each other's display name and mobile on the order page. Agree a time and place within 7 days, check the item, and pay the seller directly by cash or transfer. The market never holds money, and the WE DANCE front desk does not receive, store or pass on items.

What if something is wrong with the item?

Check the item when you meet. An order completes automatically 48 hours after hand-over, so report any problem in the market before then. The sale is between buyer and seller; the market can remove listings and suspend accounts that break the rules. Private second-hand sales are generally not covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act, and sellers in trade must say so in their profile.

Where do I buy new uniforms and shoes?

New WE DANCE uniforms and dance shoes are in our shop. You pick them up at the front desk.
